Concrete stamping allows us to transform your existing concrete surfaces to look like natural stone, wood, brick, slate, cobblestone or other materials without having to rip out existing concrete and start from scratch. The process can be used on new or existing concrete and on exterior or interior surfaces.
As an economic alternative to pricey pavers and natural stone, stamped concrete overlays are an especially popular choice for refreshing driveways, walkways, patios and pool decks. They can even be applied to walls and other vertical concrete.
STEP 1 – Pour Concrete: pour new concrete or overlay existing concrete with a thin layer of new concrete.
STEP 2 – Stamp Concrete: stamp the concrete using stamping mats (molded from the actual materials they are designed to replicate). The result generates very realistic seamless textures that resemble natural stone and wood and allows for a huge range of color options
STEP 3 – Color Concrete: both dry-shake coloring methods as well as surface applied mediums are utilized in order to get the richest, natural colors. The newly stamped areas can even be acid-stained or antiqued with the client’s choice of color.
STEP 4 – Seal Concrete: after the stamping and coloring are completed, a solvent based sealant is then applied with the choice of high gloss or matte finish.
When properly installed, stamped concrete typically lasts longer and requires less maintenance than most other paving materials. Since stamped concrete doesn’t have joints, you don’t have to worry about weeds, water, dirt, ice, and other elements cracking the concrete. The results: stamped concrete can last for decades, adding convenience and practicality to its value.
